High fees & few locations but polite and efficient staff. Not a bank for low balance holders, though. They defer to company policy. I'm not even sure anyone on-site has any real authority. I've had the same account with the various banks who buy the locations for the past 32 odd years there and this is the first bank regime to defer so quickly to company policy without attempting to assuage the customer complaints or compromise out of the spirit of mutual benefit. With the abrupt closing of the Bartlesville branch I would be suspect of future banking with Bank of the West in NE Oklahoma.
The staff is friendly but they have terrible hours and limited locations. Not convenient at all with my busy lifestyle.
I've been a botw customer for over 10 years and have almost all of my banking accounts through them (personal, business, mortgage, etc). I went to this branch for years when it was just a converted house over near Utica, and love the new location on Brookside. Same friendly people who know my name and needs (esp Christina who's been a constant help the entire time I've been in Tulsa - name me one other local branch employee at ANY bank who's been with one bank and branch for 8 years and I'll eat my hat) and same great customer service I've always counted on. Similar review could be said for Bixby branch, though I don't go there as often. Note: Glowing service reviews do NOT apply to 51st and Sheridan branch where I'm consistently underwhelmed and made to feel transactional every time I've made the poor decision to go there instead of to my friends on Brookside or in Bixby.
