I have gone to FBC since I was born. I have had the opportunity to experience each age group ministry. From children's (0-6th grade), to students (7th-12th grade), to college (those who are of college age), and adult ministries. There are separate SUNDAY MORNING environments for each of these age groups. However, we like to start the service in worship with all age groups together, and then we divide off into our various parts of the church for teaching time. There are 2 Sunday morning services (8:30-10:00) and 10:30-12:00). WEDNESDAY NIGHTS have environments for children and students. 5th&6th grade have a game time and bible study (6:30-8:00). STUDENTS: have an environment called Cells. This includes student led worship time, teaching led by the student ministries pastor, and then small groups (cell groups) led by adult volunteers. Students break off into these groups by grade and gender (7th grade boys, 9th grade girls, etc..) to discuss the lesson and grow together in Christ. Seasonally, (fall and winter) ADULTS: have a Wednesday night environment called Impact, where a choice of bible, or topical studies are given. Studies are led by pastors, or other adults throughout the church. A couple of other things that happen regularly, ADULT SMALL GROUPS, or L2L (life 2 life) groups meet regularly outside of the church. We have a plethora of different groups that cater to families, older people, younger people, and anywhere in between! Each group meets at different times and on different days. STUDENTS also take mission trips each year across the United States. We have ventured to places such as Bluefield, WV - Dillon, MT - Chicago, Il - St. Louis, MO - McAllen, TX - and will be traveling to Show low, AZ - McAllen, TX - and Memphis, TN - this year; all in hopes to share the Gospel nation wide. One last thing our church does regularly is that every 5th Sunday on the calendar, the Student ministry takes over Sunday morning service (Worship and Teaching).
