My ankle was throbbing with pain. I went in to urgent care. The Dr. that saw me and asked "what I did to cause the pain?" I didn't do anything! My foot started hurting and got worse as the week progressed. I told the doctor I experience these things on a 5-6 month basis. He said feet "just do not start hurting". He ended up giving me Naproxen (Alieve) for swelling.
I have never had an experience quite like this office has provided me. I was scheduled on the same day that I called as a new patient, I got my CT Scan the same week, and a diagnosis the following week. Nothing short of remarkable for this place. You can tell the staff really works together as a team and really listens to what you have to say. I thought my foot was just supposed to hurt all of the time and the limp would be a forever thing, but Dr. Lashley has gave me so much hope in KNOWING that it is going to get taken care of. I wish I would of came to this place a year ago when I first hurt my foot. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone.
I thought it was time to see a foot specialist. I went to Metro Tulsa Foot & Ankle to see Dr. Quang. X-rays were taken of my foot and I was shown where parts of my foot bones were coming into contact with tendons. The area shown was exactly where my foot started to hurt early in the week. I was suffering from tendonitis. I was given an steroid which has reduced the swelling in my ankle. I will be going back to discuss long term fixes for my feet with Dr. Quang.
Dr. Maureen Crotty is awesome. I found out answers to foot problems that I had been trying to take care of myself for 20 years. I was shocked to find out that I was born with malformed bones and that is why at age 23 I started having pain in my feet. I had been trying to treat the problem myself by buying more comfortable shoes, but there comes a time when shoes won't take care of the pain anymore. I wish I had gone here a long time ago. I could have had a more active life, instead of not being able to do what I wanted to do because my feet hurt. I would recommend this office to anyone who has foot problems. Don't put it off for 20 years like I did. Everyone in the entire office has a wonderful bedside manner and they are so smart. I was more than impressed with my visit and I would recommend them to anyone with foot or ankle problems.

Doctor Kevin Quang is absolutely the best doctor I have ever had. I saw doctor Quang because I had a developed a bad case of plantar fasciitis and a partially torn Achilles tendon. I first saw another local podiatrist who told me that my running days were over and that I should look for alternate ways to stay fit. As a lifelong athlete, I wasn’t ready to hang up my running shoes, so I sought a second opinion. I was very fortunate to get an appointment with Dr. Kevin Quang at Metro Tulsa Foot and Ankle Specialists. Dr. Quang made it his personal mission to get me running again. He performed a thorough examination, took the time to answer every question I had, researched my condition and the very latest treatment options and then aggressively treated me with the latest techniques available. It’s only been 6 weeks since my first visit with Dr. Quang and I just completed a 10K race with absolutely zero pain. I won’t say that Dr. Quang is a miracle worker but he has unquestionably changed my life for the better. If you are ever in need of a foot or ankle doctor, see Dr. Quang. He’s the best doctor you’ll find anywhere.
