My mom and I were headed home from Tulsa and stumbled upon this gem. I read the reviews and most of them were positive with a couple negative Nancie's in the crowd. Let me say our waitress CeeCee was a delight on on her game. I had the Okie burger which for any burger lover is a must and my mom had the Chicken Salad sandwich and it was amazing!! I personally experienced speedy service compared to the other reviews!! Definitely will be back!!
This place is a gem. The food is all good, but I liked the fish tacos and the burger the most. The food doesn't come out super fast, but it is worth the wait if you aren't in a rush.
We have tried to eat here many times but if it's busy at all they never have more than 2 maybe 3 waitresses working. Because of this you will wait forever to get a table. We just were there and Saturday dirty table for 12 minutes. 6 minutes and they came and took some of the dishes and left a pile of silverware, but we waited another five minutes and nobody ever came with water or even a menu. We could have at least been choosing what we wanted but no one brought us anything.
Whether the food is good or not is irrelevant if you can't get anyone to even bring you a menu.
I just happened to stumble across this gem on my early morning trek to work. Having ample, time and a short distance left, I figured I'd be adventurous and stop. I'm certainly glad I did. What a wonderful place. It's tastefully decorated in early 20th century decor reminiscent of the oil years of Tulsa. It was like stepping back in time for a brief moment. I had the pleasure of eating breakfast at this fine establishment and was pleased with the food and service. I think maybe me and the wife will take a "staycation" here in the near future.
Good hamburger deal on Sunday. The waitress was great. Kept our drinks filled.
