Amtrak to New York...QMIi to England...they planned it all. It is fantastic.
I walked into Travel Connections on 71st and Riverside in Tulsa, OK without an appointment(which was stated to me on my way out). The agent was on the phone with a client so I waited patiently. She then asked if she could help me and I stated that I was looking to book a honeymoon and had been to 2 other travel agents. The previous 2 had suggested the same resort and I wanted to get a third opinion to see if perhaps it truly was the best or just giving the best incentives to the agents. She stated "no" and gave her opinion about the area and the resorts there. She then suggested Sandals Resorts and I stated that we did not like the commercialized nature of Sandals. This is when she became rude. She said that if I was "just going from agent to agent," that she did not have the time to waste on searching for a honeymoon package for us. I then stated that I wouldn't want to do this, and left. Very frustrated I called back to speak with the manager/owner and she stated the same thing. That it would be a waste of time because I did not take her advice about the Sandals Resort and they reserve there time for their "LOYAL CUSTOMERS." To which I replied how then do you become a "LOYAL CUSTOMER" if you won't put in the time, then hung up. Perhaps I am wanting too much for my honeymoon to be special but I felt the the people in Travel Connections do not deserve my business. I am happy for you if they provided you with great vacation/trip. As for me, I will not be back.
