Safari Joe's, next time think about the passing customers IN your park beforer the prospective customers you're hoping to attract!
Loved my time here. There isn't much for safe fun activities for teens in the area, especially at this price. Buying season passes in the winter was quickly worth it for the kiddos. Staff, entire atmosphere seems much more relaxed than with the Murphy Brothers. I love that there are things to do out of the water, like the little playgrounds, basketball court, and animals. 5/5 would slide again.
This park has terrible customer service skills. The park is only open weekends this time of year...That's fine. But they chose to close their most popular ride today so they could film a commercial featuring the ride. That's right. They denied paying customers the right to enjoy the ride so they could film a commercial...on one of the only two days the park is open this week. Couldn't shoot the commercial on Monday? Really???
Love Safari Joes!! Very Clean. Lot's of life guards. Drawbacks would be paying $16 to bring a few snacks in... This rule was definitely for people with coolers, but we were told our (very small amount) snacks counted (I ended up throwing them away...) That said, it's still a fun place to spend the day. Definitely stop by Josh's Sno cones. Best.ever.
Also, they advertised there would be a magic show at 3:30. My kids were so excited to see this show, they kept asking me every five minutes if it was time for the show yet. At 3:25 I finally said it was time and we went to take our seats. At 3:30 someone came out and told us the magic show was cancelled. Why? The same commercial shoot. Why did they even advertise for the show in the first place? Got my kids excited for nothing.
Great Water Park, fun for the whole family. If you are looking for fun in the water at a great price this is the plaxe for you, They have slides for all ages, a deck to jump off of. Also if you are looki g for more adventure they have an eight foot deep wave pool. All kinds of fun for the whole family. They also have vendors inside the park with decent food and drinks,a candy shop for kids and adults, and for the Adults there is a Shark Bar that has alcoholic beverages. Joe has really made the place nice with clean park, fun slides, and animals for everyone to see. Go for just a day or get a season pass you will have fun swimming here.
Had an awesome time with the family. Before Safari Joe's took ownership of the park we promised we would never come back. They have done an awesome job updating the park and adding new rides. Plenty of extra activities besides the water park and much like the sanctuary interactive experiences with animals. Also the park rules are way better. Hope they continue to improve at the same pace, they've certainly earned our support.
