HORRIBLE service from the manager Naomi! RUDE, no eye contact, turned her back to me and ignored me. The problem was they had placed a pack of toys with a label of $49.99 then rang them up for $119.99, that is a huge difference at the register, there was no apology whatsoever and acted like I was in the wrong wanting them to honor the price on the shelf. I can not believe she was the manager. They lost out on $100 sale even with the correctly honored price. Wonder why they are going out of business.
I must say the customer service was absolutely horrible. We went to find some toys for our 1 1/2 year old son. After looking around for a while we decided to get him a Thomas the train ride on toy. The boxes were on display in the middle of the isle showing the price. So as u can probably guess when we got to the counter I was told the prices needed to be changed. If that wasn't bad enough the lady at the register asking for the price check was texting on her phone the entire time. It was just a over all horrible experience.
I went in the store to buy a bday present for grandson. No one offered any help. I had to walk around the store to find the scooters. Then after I found one and bought it. I asked the clerk behind the customer service desk if I could have a sack and just glared at me and said we are out of sacks. So I had to go get a sack from one of the other sales clerks to put present in. Poor and rude service. Won't go back to that Toys R Us on Memorial and 71st again.
Waited for over 45 minutes on a Tuesday for an employee to try to figure out what was wrong with my online order that still wasn't ready. Customer Service was HORRIBLE, even from the manager! They should get rid of this one also and build a better one with better customer service!
I was teaching my child the importance of saving and earning money. After he had picked out his toys , I had him count money to the person at the register to practice his numbers. They were so patient with us, it was a very pleasant experience.
