I think i remember that day and i think it was me. I'm not saying that this was the same event but I almost bet it was. I WASN'T his friend i was his customer. I was running extremely late for school that day. I walked into his shop after he was closed. The guy was kind enough to make me my keys although he was closed. You walked in and asked for a jump. I said i couldn't but i didn't say why. The reason was for a test i had to take for a class that i was already late for. The key was very important to make because everyone i contacted didn't have the key to duplicate it. He just so happen to have the keys and carried them on hand. I wasn't even from Tulsa or the Tulsa area. After you walked out the shop guy said he would love to help but he had a baseball game that he had to go to. I think he even said he was the coach. It might not have looked like he was helping me but he still was. The only reason why i am posting is because i needed the same key for that car copied again and couldn't remember the name of the guys business so i googled it and found these reviews. I remember that day almost like it was yesterday not because you walked in but because they guy who helped me stayed late to do so and was an extremely nice and easy to deal with. I highly recommend this place. As to John Mason I am very sorry i couldn't help you with jumping your vehicle.
Now the reason I am writing this review is because I also am a business owner and if anyone that was seriously in need, esp a customer of mines, and asked me for such help, I would not hesitate for a moment to help them. The way that he treated me as a customer who just walked in and gave them retail business is a reflection of how low he values his customers and how much he is willing to go out of his way to help others that are in need. His so called mission statement of "Our business is securing your business" should be changed to "We don't give a darn about your business!"
I needed a spare key for a vehicle and another item, which I stopped in for. The guy running the shop was there and immediately helped me and did a good job with making the key. That is why I gave him a 1 star rating and not a zero.
However, on a separate note in regards to being a good Samaritan, I would give the shop owner a zero! We stepped outside to drive away and our truck would not start and needed a jump. Now the shop owner and his friend were just standing there in the shop with no other customers to help? I asked if he could give me a jump being that his or his friends truck was sitting right next to ours. They both looked at me like I was some kind of a beggar looking for a hand out in the street and in an annoyed tone told me that they neither had the time or the interest to help me.
