They always do such a wonderful job with all three of my dogs
What impressed me most was how enthusiastic about their job everyone was. Not just Dr Danner but the nurses and technicians were totally smitten with Jenny from the start. They were all calm and treated her with all the care and kindness that I believe they would show their own pets. They also explained every single thing they did to me, which I find important as a pet mom.
Even after the appointment they went above and beyond, calling me the following Monday to check on Jenny. All that after a routine appointment!
I had such great experiences with them that I recently took my current cat, Jenny, to them for a checkup and a vaccination update. They also trimmed her claws for me, at a very reasonable price.
I do love this place. It is a little on the pricey side, but for my 4 pets, it's always worth it. They treat my pets like they are their own. It's a great friendly atmosphere, and the doctors truly care about your pets. (They are pet lovers, themselves). They also do pretty much everything you could think of when it comes to your pet. Grooming, kennel stays, major surgeries... I trust them, and that's why I keep going back.
I took my last cat to this clinic, and when she died two years ago, I brought her here for the cremation. The staff did well at handling a woman sobbing over her lost friend and were very sympathetic.
MY dog was very sick, started on a Fri P.M. I called on Sat. They stated that she has a heart murmur. Said that I would be charged for a Sat visit. To bring her in on Mon. By Mon she was pretty bad. They did I V & xrays. Pick her up later that dog. Tues she wasn't getting better giving her the Meds plus not eating. Called back up there, told me to up her Meds 4 times that day & 3 times on Wed. During all of this she is still not getting better. Called Wed, they said they couldn't get her in Wed that thery were booked. Bring her in Thur A.M. told them she has not eaten said to give her baby food. By Thur she was in very very bad shape. They did what they could. So I brought her home with more Meds. She passed on Friday. I have been playing this back in my mind. If They would have seen her on Sat, & not let her wait on Tue, & Wed. She might have had a chance. Or they knew she was not going to make it any well. There main focus was $$$$$$$$. I thought they were Vet's who help ANIMALS. Guess I was wrong.
I moved to Tulsa a year ago and was very worried about finding health care for my pets. I shopped around and actually visited several clinics to visit and talk about my pet care. AMSH has proven to be an amazing group of veterinarians and staff who have met and exceeded my needs. They are all highly trained with deep compassion for each of my hairy four-legged children. Thank you AMSH. You have made our transition much easier.
I love AMSH and will use them again.
