My husband Bob, had a knee replacement with Dr Slader. He really did not have much pain. His scar healed quickly and it worked out pretty amazing. It took almost a year to get in......... and every appointment, he had to wait up to three hours. For surgery we had to arrive at the hospital very early that morning and he did not go into surgery until late in the day. It kept getting put back an hour or so. Just know, the wait times are because he has so many patients and so many waiting. His is the best and he does a very good job.
They Scheduled my appointment on Surgery day. Of course the Dr was delayed. Here is a tip when you schedule the appointment let us know that it may be cancelled. It not fair that you didn't offer me a choice of office day vs surgery day. My time is valuable as well.
Dr. Dukes is an excellent Surgeon and Doctor. He listens and he truly cares about your well-being. All new Doctors should practice under his guidance and the world would be a better place. All the Staff is great as well. Friendly, efficient and professional. Hip surgery, no problems afterwards. Knee pain, he fixed me right up on that too. I wouldn't go to anyone else for my Orthopedic needs.
This place is a joke, two doctors there told me i had a ruptured achilles tendon, being a nurse, i know my anatomy and this was cleary a gastroc injury, wanted to do surgery quick as can be,get that money, UNTIL I ask for copy of MRI which shows level 3 tear of gastroc! You cant repair a muscle with surgery!!!!! AFTER all that, they never billed correct insurance after several calls and now being sued when I should be the one to Sue.Not to mention not given any pain meds during most painful time ever. If your a physician SAVE YOUR CAREER AND DON'T GET AFFILIATED
After a right proximal Humerus fracture I was told by another doctor I would need a shoulder replacement. Dr. Dumais was not only able to repair and save my bone but the scar left behind looks amazing. I never write reviews but When I was searching for a second opinion I read every review I could find. You will not be disappointed. If anyone can fix you it's Dr. Dumais.
