I've been here a number of times. The staff are helpful and there is free WiFi here.
in others words alot of what they "have" is for show.
I LOVE this library. They are always super helpful when I go in. I had some fines from many years ago and they helped me take care of it so quickly and in a very reasonable way. The librarians are consistently knowledgeable as well as enthusiastic about their jobs. I can always trust that when I drop a book off in the overnight box it will be checked back in promptly. I really appreciate being able to order any book I want and have it sent to my local branch and held for me. It's really convenient.
they waited 3 more days just to say "there's a non refundable fee just to watch the video, plus 8 dollars an hour thereafter and a 7 dollar charge to save the video to a usb. and the excuses. one said "we've never had to do this before." so? plus if you've never done it before then there shouldn't be a waiting list.
somewhere in between there another staff member (amy) suggested i simply give up.

I love this library! It is in walking distance from my house and is a great place to go! I really like the Tulsa Library's app! If my Brookside library doesn't have what I want I can request it from another library in the area and they deliver to Brookside to be picked up! It really is a great system all around! #readingispower
horrible doesn't even begin to describe. recently had something stolen from someone sitting next to me at the computer station. i didn't leave the station i just turned my head for a minute and it was gone and so was the assailant. so i was initially told that someone would look at the tape the following day.
but it's not just that. ppl drop off their kids off from about 3 pm until close. i understand our youth need a place to be but i'm not a babysitter. it used to be that the library was quiet and if you weren't you had to leave. the internet is always crashing and there are too many restrictions on the computers. half the software doesn't b/c they don't want to pay for the full version but the trial version has restrictions making it useless.
but that's not who i am so i paid but was told that the supervisor ellen was gone until monday. monday comes she passes it of to IT, they pass it back to ellen, ellen passes it to the police. i file a report and still no word from anyone. whats the point of having on site security, the police dept and cameras if no ones going to do anything about it?
