Parking is one side of the building.
Super clean Family bathroom, great for me and 1 yr old granddaughter! Wonderful children's section. Love all the play/interactive areas.
There is one entrance on a different side.
Completely impractical.
Downtown library is a gem in Tulsa. There are great study rooms, work spaces, pleasant atmosphere. They validate parking up to 3 hours.
My visit Sunday was pretty deterring of a return. I thought, "I'll show up early before they get busy, that should make it easy for them to help me be in and out". The first lady was nice, but I got passed around to 3 people before I was helped, and with the sighing I don't think she really wanted to help me. Learned on here they can vouch parking, but ended up paying $6 to walk around being told I have to take a vacation to use the library because I work till 5. Still a nice spot for stay at home parents I suppose, if parking isn't too much.
In a nice area of town, this would be fine. This is not a nice area. I passed two homeless people and a filthy woman talking to herself on the sidewalk. I looked for a place to validate my ticket from the parking garage when I checked out and did not see a single sign about it anywhere. I had to pay $6 to escape that place. I well never go back to this location.
We came here on a field trip with my son's kindergarten summer reading program for a tour and wow!! It is so nice and up to date. The Starbucks was phenomenal. Best library I've been to. So many things to do -
