Great trails and lots of wildlife. Bring repellent for bugs and ticks. Had a blast! Going again soon.
The trails are great year round as there's benefits to each season (off-trail is much easier on the ends of winter). Only one trail that I'm familiar with is repeatedly an issue - Woodpecker Trail between Green Dragon and the creek is easily bogged down after any recent rain.
Wonderful place, learned a lot here about Oklahoma wildlife. Beware or water mokasins.
The Interpretive Building has a few small displays such as a see-through beehive. The schedule includes lots of kids' events especially during the summer. They are interactive and usually include a craft and some outside exploration.
great way to see nature near an urban environment
The wildlife is good but moderate. Deer can be seen but of course they are flighty. You'll hear tons of pileated woodpeckers which sound kind of like monkeys. Beaver dams can be found in the Blackbird Marsh area. The pond near the parking lot does have snakes, especially around the north edge.
Paths are not clearly marked but very scenic and nice outdoor experience in Tulsa. Bring a Camera. Be aware strong snake presence.
