A great way to spend an afternoon- fall colors are at their peak, walking trail with a little variety. Flat land then slight incline, bluff, ponds, cactus, cave. Grab a map, restrooms, a few picnic tables, visitor center.
I absolutely love this trail. It’s a bit short, but it is so dense in scenery. It’s definitely a gem in the tulsa area and looks like it belongs a ways southeast of here in western Arkansas. There are massive rock structures, caverns, and walk throughs. Plus there are a couple ponds you can see from above. It is well maintained and everyone I have met on the path has been respectful and pleasant.
Limited parking lot
Such a beautiful place to hike! It's pretty humid and can take a while to finish (if you do several trails) so bring a water. It's very green and removed, so it's a great nature experience.
Closes at 5pm
This is always been my favorite place to go in Tulsa to go be by myself and meditate I think there's five different Trails when that you can take
Serene and peaceful, the trails combined amount to mess than 5 miles I believe. Go before 10am to avoid most crowds
Friendly volunteers
Family fun- so close to town.
