It's not s nice as Chandler Park. I was here for the ScotFest Highland Games and Scottish Heritage Festival. It had, unfortunately, been 12 years since my last chance to make it to ScotFest. And they have gotten much better organized. The park is pretty nice, and it is clean. There were only two real problems of note for the park: lack of adequate nearby parking and a sand and cement processing facility just to the south. Lack of convenient parking, I think, speaks for itself. The processing facility is a problem on summer, windy days. Sand and dust blow right through the park, getting everyone and everything in its path dusty. And any from Oklahoma knows that windy conditions are highly likely.
This is a good place to bring the family and friends. This is the place where you can get involved with the River
Lovely trails, great views, they have lots of festivals and races here (event parking isn't the best but they usually do their best to make sure everyone finds a spot).
Oktoberfest is awesome! And das Glockenspiel is the best thing that ever happened to the Fest! In a word... Great!!!
Completely inadequate handicap parking. Parking half a mile away attendants were rude. No shuttles from there. Scotfest was fun, well laid out this year. Not enough portapoties. Glad they still let dogs attend. Good vendors, but would still like more. Clans were well represented.
