The time came for us to say good bye yesterday, they made it as comfortable for him and me as possible. Having to face the hardest decision of my life they were far more comforting than they had to be. I'll never use another vet for my fur-babies.
Such a great experience during a tragic time for my family. I will definitely continue going to VCA Woodland Central Animal Hospital. Such a kind and caring staff and no wait time at all but most importantly they genuinely felt my pain when I had to make the decision to have my cat put down. They explained my options, were very clear, very supportive and I received a card in the mail with a packet of seeds for flowers a week later. We have received outstanding care for our six cats for many years ( and now five, sadly we recently lost one and thank you Dr M for helping us through such a difficult time- we appreciate you!) All of our cats are rescue cats and two even came from Woodland. One is now 18 and a half and has been diabetic almost 9 years. She would not be alive and healthy today without the loving staff who have given her the care that she needs. Many thanks to you all!
My cat burned his foot on the stove a morning before I had to leave town, and VCA got us in and out within an hour and 15 minutes of me calling them. Everyone was incredibly friendly and I never felt like they were trying to rush through the appointment to get to the next patient. At the end of the appointment, the vet gave me his direct number to call if I notice any blistering in a few days, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out at the end that the first exam is 100% free. I'll definitely be going back if my cat or future pets have any other issues.
I would like to thank the entire staff especially Dr. Squibb. I brought my beagle Bodhi to the office a couple of weeks ago. My dog was extremely sick and did not recover. My friend had to be euthanized and he died in my arms. The compassion that Dr. Squibb and the rest of the staff showed during this traumatic time was spectacular. I truly felt as though they cared as much about my beloved friend and companion as I did. Shortly after this traumatic event I received a wonderful card from the entire staff. The card was so touching I will keep it forever beside the remains of my best friend. Once again thank you and your staff for all you all did.
Absolutely amazing staff. They saved my miniature schnauzer about a year ago and when my cat Cooper had a fatal tumor they called to check on him.
