If I could describe Samuels Jewelers in one word it would be fraudulent. Bought ring for girlfriend..... during the sales process the salesman Harley show me the ring under a Jeweler's loupe in microscope to inform me of the inclusion of the Centerstone and the reason why it was discounted. I purchased the ring knowing the Center Stone had an inclusion in it also paid for an insurance policy for it oh, don't get me wrong the ring is beautiful but it only took about 3 times for my girlfriend to wear it before the Center Stone fell out ....and i mean just fell out...no damage to the prongs at all. at that point we took it back to Samuels and they informed me that the Center Stone was a CZ or cubic zirconium. And thats all they would replace it with. The head manager told me that to replace a one carat diamond would cost three grand so couldn't have possibly been a real diamond unfortunately for her I buy a lot of jewelry I know how much of one carat diamond with I clarity cost. She even showed me a receipt showing a CZ on here computer after minutes of typing. Since i was unable to produce a receipt or any proof that it was in fact a real diamond I figured it's not worth the argument. A 1300 dollar ring wasnt worth getting into it with them for me. Needless to say this company relies on you being uninformed about jewelry or diamonds and or if it is the case that I truly was mistaken and bought a CZ their sales process is predatory at least. They're lost though i would of been a signifcant repeat customer. I have since purchase a 1 carat diamond of about the same quality as the orginal to replace their cz with. The quick Google search of this company will tell you their business practices how they replace diamonds and or ripped off customers or how they don't pay their vendors that they use for repairs. I'd rather shop and pay a little bit more from an honest company that'll stand by their product in word then give these scumbags another dollar. RUN FOR THE HILLS
