Got the chance to work with a young professional named Allie. I have never filled out a google rewiew until today. Allie went above and beyond. She was very professional and made us feel extremely comfortable with the shopping process. Very knowledgeable and had answers for all our questions. She even contacted my fiancé the second her ring came in. We were so blessed and impressed by the experience that we will only work with her on our next purchase.
I would choose a one-star rating if I could. It first started when my now-husband bought me my promise ring. It took almost 2 months to get it sized and after having it for maybe a month, it broke where they sized it. I took it back and they "fixed it" for it to only happen again shortly after. I took it back AGAIN and they replaced the ring and resized it and again, it broke. I am very careful with my jewelry and take good care of it. After hardly being able to wear this ring over the course of 5 months since we bought it, we asked for a store credit. We got my now engagement ring and I had no problems with it.
I tell everyone I know not to go to Zales. The customer service is terrible, and they don't do things the right way, just the cheap way. It wouldn't surprise me if my diamonds, turned out not to be diamonds. I am beyond livid!!
Big store with a lot to offer. They have a men's meteorite ring I didn't see at the other stores.
3 days after getting it back the same diamond fell out and I noticed that they did not replace the one that was a different color (very hard to tell in the store under those bright lights). Now I can't even wear it because they did not dip it in white gold again. How do I know? Well first off its tarnishing, white gold doesn't tarnish, especially not within a month. Secondly, I am allergic to anything that is not gold or sterling silver. My finger started to swell, and my skin was peeling along with burning. I work full time and go to school full time so I haven't had a chance to take it up to the store but I plan to this week. I would like to wear my wedding rings that we've paid thousands of dollars for.
About 2 years later we bought my wedding bands. I send it off to be resized and sautered together which took about a month. After about 3 months of wearing it, I noticed one of my diamonds fell out and another diamond had changed colors. So I took it to the store to have it fixed. It took about another month to get back. When I went to pick it up, there was one customer in the store that was being helped and 3 other employees there. Shortly after I got there another customer came in and was approached before I was. They gave me my ring and explained the diamond that fell out was replaced, the one that was a different color was replaced, the made sure the settings were tight and redipped it.
My boyfriend bought me a ring back in March 2016 which was not long ago and a month later it broke because I was allergic to sterling silver which I did not know at that time. We were told if we wanted something done we would have to upgrade to a new ring. We did not have the money to do that. So we went from March to October the bringing it back in every month to fix it after it snapped... Recently we went in and decided to upgrade to a 10 karat white gold ring..Well, three weeks later I got the ring back which was today and I immediately went home to show everyone my new ring and several people pointed it out to me that two diamonds were missing. I would have to say that my experience with sales so far has not been good every time we had to go back to fix my ring they would deny trying to help us and rather just say get it fixed. Now, the ring we have is $400 and the quality of the ring shouldn't be as poor as it is..a diamond or two shouldn't just fall out randomly.. 2 diamonds now have to be replaced or it is very noticeable. The employees are very nice but the quality of jewelry is very bad would not recommend..
Went into this store a few weeks ago to pick out a wedding bridal set for me. Me and my fiancé walked into the store and no one greeted us, we were the only customers in the store and no one was on the phone. Everyone looked at us but no one said a word to us or even offered to help. I imagine it was because my fiancé was wearing cowboy boots with shorts and maybe i wasn’t looking my best but i saw a few employees looking him up and down with a disgusted look on their face. We ended up going to Samuel’s Jewelers and they were very welcoming.
