I stayed at this very comfortable facility for a professional retreat, and very much enjoyed the experience although I was initially put in a double-double room, I had requested a king room. When I brought this to the attention of the hotel staff, they quickly and graciously found an appropriate room for me. I found the accommodations upscale, the buffet breakfast above the usual cut for hotels, and the catered meal the best we had in the area. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and I have no hesitation about recommending this hotel to travelers and businesses looking for a way to treat their employees well.
My only issue was with other guests. There was a childrens sporting event conference going on and my dog didn't like the kids running up and down the hall. However, both guests and staff were very pleasant the entire time and though there were some issues with guests being unruly or downright trashy, the hotel was kept in impeccable shape. I was easily able to overlook the small issues I had with the guests thanks to the beautiful establishment and wonderful staff. Would absolutely stay again.
Edit: when I did try to call room service and front desk, there was no answer.
Was checking in at 5, told king room wasn't ready, asked if we needed double beds. Our reservation was for a king (they assigned a room which wasn't ready), they moved us to one which was ready. Took a shower in cold water because it did not get hot no matter how far over we moved the knob, tub also did not drain so we stood in quite a few inches of water. Tried to blow dry my hair, blow dryer is broken. Bed was not comfortable. Curtains are sheer and do not block out any light, the heavier ones are just decoration. Stay very far away from this hotel. Not worth the money.
The hotel and premises were clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were decently sized. The furnishings were fitting and the beds were quite comfortable. However, our stay was plagued by a plethora of, what I would call, minor inconveniences. We had three rooms booked, but only two were available at 4 PM, with the third only becoming available almost 3 hours later. We had requested two connecting rooms, with all three having two double beds instead of a single king bed. We ended up with all separate rooms and one room with a king. All three rooms were missing shampoo bottles, and so on. To be fair, the hotel had apparently been at full capacity the previous night, with a large number of late checkouts. All in all, it wasn't a horrible stay by any means, but it far less a positive experience than I've come to expect from my stays at other Marriott properties.
A close family member had their wedding and reception there. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are perfect to set up any themes, they let you bring just about anything to make the wedding perfect. There was even a dance floor. The rooms are great for out of town family and friends to stay at to attend the wedding and it's also convenient to be able to rent a couple rooms for the wedding party to get ready in. They also had their photos done there, plenty of gorgeous places inside and outside the hotel that make for great pictures. We had a lot of fun, there was so much space, and again it's BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend it for any event, or even just a nice place to stay when you need a staycation!
