Nice staff. Nice breakfast! Didn't get to the bar, but it looked good. Rooms were big, but needed more outlets. Pool looked awesome, but waaay too much chlorine. There were a few people in dreads booming music and smoking weed. Not their fault, but could have better security.
Great price, great location. We stayed here for my sons birthday and the staff and the room were very accommodating. We stayed here for the kids pool area. It's perfect for toddlers 3 and older. My son whos 3 had a blast! Recommend, and will be back!
Everything looked nice at first. But when you look closer it’s Dirty, not taken care of, staff was mostly nice but the afternoon crew was more interested in gabbing than helping us out. Then the 1st night the lock didn’t work and you didn’t need a key to get in the ROOM! Found that out the hard way. The manager made amends and was truly sorry. I forgave them, thinking everyone gets another chance then they put us in a room that the key card didn’t work. The maintanance guy came and said there was a trick to get in to your rooms. I was infuriated. The pool was again at first nice fun looking then dirty when you inspected it. Beds are super hard. People come for the “water park” I’d just stay at a nicer hotel and swim in a clean area.
This Wyndham location has all of the makings for a great hotel. I believe from observation as a guest with a management career there should be some policy and procedure updates. As a service provider attention to detail is critical. Properly functioning facility is a must at all costs in this line of business. This was not the case. Toilets constantly running, equipment not functioning in the pool area, floor care and maintenance, ceiling tile care are just a few noted maintenance notes. Courtesy items such as towels being ready and available is essential when having a pool, especially children specific pools. As for the staff they were polite. The professionalism around the front desk is lacking and it was not the attendant at the front desk I am referring to. The random staff hanging out for various reasons. Having staff properly dressed and identified seems an after thought. I suppose as a consumer and manager I look at service based businesses in a manner of everything caters to the customer and their experience. In order for this to happen many processes have to constantly be in motion and it seems at this Wyndham they are missing some of these important keys to be a great location.
Our family loved this hotel! Very affordable. The indoor water slides, kiddie play pool, & hot tub (for Mom & Dad) has put this on our list of places to visit again.
