First mistake: A few months back my wife and I decided to purchase our mattress at one of the mattress locations. Making payments as our bed waited for us in the warehouse. We were excited to get our new bed as our baby girl was on her way.
Second mistake: ALWAYS!!! Double check fine line details of where you are making purchases.
Long story short we will not be given any opportunity for exchange. It’s in the fine print.
Third mistake: Shop around! If you made it this far on my review take my advice and go to Mattress firm they have a 190 day satisfaction guarantee so if you don’t like your bed you can in fact exchange it.
In today’s society we are so used to customer satisfaction that we automatically assume that if we don’t like something or decide it’s not what we thought it was we will have an opportunity to exchange or return it for what you do want. As two new homeowners and not exactly high income earners purchasing a $1000 bed is not easy but with a new baby on the way we felt that it would be money well spent. 10-22-2017 our new bed arrived and we are so excited for a good nights rest. After one night on the bed we felt it was hard and uncomfortable not at all what we remembered when testing out beds at the store. We were not happy with it. But hopeful it would be no big deal and we could exchange it for what we did want.
I had a delightful, productive shopping experience. I was met immediately by the sales rep who then showed me the available couches in my price range. He knew the merchandise on the floor very well saving me time searching your huge showroom. I generally like to be left alone while shopping for furniture but he was most engaging and helpful. I am now sitting on my new couch and loving it. It's extremely comfortable , fits my decor well and in my opinion the steal of the day. I'm very happy that I shopped Mathis Brothers.
LONG SIGH....... I hate that I have had such a terrible experience it’s rather disappointing.
My wife and I were looking for a new couch and area rug. The salesmen were friendly and knowledgeable. But I was surprised with what a good time we had there. I felt like we made two friends there while looking for just the right items for our home. We changed our minds several times but never felt hurried at all. I think we got a good deal in quality and price. I highly recommend Mathis Brothers...good folks.
Unfortunately I am taking three stars away from this review. As much as I adored the salesman the last 3 months of battling to get our furniture repaired under the protection has been a nightmare. From the very first email response from Angel Davenport to the refund of the money (which we didn't ask for) her lack of helping, answering or responding to phone calls and emails, was unacceptable in our opinion. My husband and I bought a sectional with the help and entertainment of salesman Ryan Hanson. Ryan was great. He gave us space but checked on us periodically. He never pushed us in a different direction from what we wanted. If we weren't sure what we wanted he helped look for items we described. The delivery men were also great. The only problem was we didn't get a call for the 2 hour window but once they arrived we realized they were having a long night. They were very kind and very helpful in their willingness to move our stuff if need be. All around a great experience.
They have a very large selection of furniture for every room. Their prices are a little high, but there quality seems to be better than other places too. Their service is pretty good, their not too pushy. Though all of the sales guys wait at the front door like sharks waiting for fish to devour. They're pretty easy to brush off though if you are just wanting to look around.
