My feed back about this hospital is not about my experience today with my daughter this about my 6 encounters with them, 2 coworkers, one with my next door neighbor and 2 other with my self and today with my daughter.
Staff and Doctors were exceptionally awesome and friendly. I had to go to the ER for an infection and all of the staff were great, very friendly, answered all my questions and listened to what I said. Very understanding and empathetic. I highly recommend coming here to be treated. I also did not hear any of the staff being rude with other patients. Very relaxing atmosphere and everyone was friendly. I was in quickly and didn't wait long to be treated. AWESOME place!!
I absolutely HATE this hospital. Not only is the staff rude and uncaring but they screwed up my mom for life and nearly killed 2 of my other relatives. My mom lives with chronic pain now for the rest of her life because of this horrible place. They even left her in her own feces for 2 days! Then there's the long wait even when you're really hurt or sick. Go to Saint Francis. They treat you like a human being and have a LOT more experienced doctors. Even Saint Johns is better than Hillcrest. My family has lovingly dubbed Hillcrest - Killcrest. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I write this review as I have waited for an hour for my 3 year old daughter to be seen for a broken leg in the ER waiting room. We are and have been the only people in the lobby since 1:15. It's going on 2:30. The nurse said there was open beds and we would be back in a minute. I have watched several employees walk by stop and chat with each other about personal gossip, including a doctor. This staff could be a part of seeing my daughter, instead, while on the clock are not working or putting patients first. Please consider this when coming for care here. Check your insurance and find a more respectful hospital to see you or your children.
Aside from labor contractions, I had a wonderful & extremely comforting experience in labor and delivery. My personal OBGYN came in to visit me, personally help delivered my baby, and was present to discharge me. The nurses were AMAZING! Most of them were trained in breast feeding and my most memorable labor and delivery nurse is Megan! She was so calm and helpful during the pushing, breastfeeding, & postpartum process. My family and I were at ease because they followed my birthing plan and helped make us feel as comfortable and safe as possible.
The hospital is very clean as a start, friendly staff and awesome doctors. Way to go guys keep up the good work and thank you for all you do to help even the people that give you negative feedback.
I had my doubts about this hospital, but it quickly changed.
First of all if you didn't know that at the ER they treat patients based on the severity of their injuries not by first cove first serve. Life threatening condition gets to be on top of the list and its top priority.
