Well, let me tell EVERYONE out there who has a complaint about this hospital...You definitely would NOT complain if you had gone to JANE PHILLIPS MEDICAL CENTER!!!! I had a hysterectomy...few weeks later I started bleeding profusely for hours...went to Jane Phillips via AMBULANCE! Guess what? They sent me home saying I should lay down and rest until the bleeding subsides or quits...said I was bleeding from my uterus...Told them I DO NOT HAVE A UTERUS!!! Still sent me home to bleed out!! Thank the Lord above that my friend took me to the hospital!! Had Emergency surgery and am alive now! God Bless this hospital!
I had a very good experience. I had neck surgery and the care I received from start to finish was excellent. My nurse Peter Contreras was very kind and attentive.
ICU at hillcrest was great thanks to Bill and Amanda. Then we got sent to the 9 floor the bathroom doesn't work the room is cold told the nurse and she said good luck with the bathroom and she laughed and said its don't feel cold to me. We was on the 5 floor a month ago and was there for a Week and that floor was even worst. So i have asked this same question. Why don't nurses show compassion any more. People are sick its there job to make patients feel better.but when nurses are rude or don't do what they say they will do it just makes the patient feel worse and family feel more scared.
The Same Day Surgicenter was excellent! I went in at 6:00 am on 6/15/17. Every Staff member from the intake desk to recovery was friendly, positive, helpful and reassuring to me. I was well taken care of from beginning to end. As I was wheeled to surgery, all I saw were friendly faces and 'Good mornings' I wanted to share a positive review to balance all the negatives. I think people can start with a negative outlook and nothing pleases them. I encountered excellent staff all around me. So my experience was nothing but good!!
Was there Friday with my sick 4 year old Friday. They said lungs are perfect crystal clear. So waited until Monday took him to a clinic to find out he has pneumonia. ..I am so outraged.
