I love National for renting cars. However, the one at the Tulsa airport is terrible. Virtual isle doesn't work. I don't get upgrades for my executive status like I do at other locations. My last rental, I had to turn around because the car was making a horrible noise. I was then told it was a tow in from the previous driver. I wasted 45 minutes with the whole ordeal and was told they couldn't do anything or upgrade me for my trouble. I ended up with a car that less than what I reserved. I rent at this location a lot and wish they would meet the standards I've seen at other locations.

While the staff are trying to be helpful and are extremely nice. The process and volume of cars lead to a much longer wait than I have experienced at any of the other airport locations I have used as a Executive Elite customer.

One issue in my last visit, I was offered a half tank fuel service option which I opted to take, but when reviewing the bill, it was noted I was charged for a full tank. This was resolved with assistance by National customer service and I also spoke to the customer service staff at the Tulsa station to alert of this issue. Be on the look out for this.

Starting with the reservation was a great experience. Through the Emerald website was very easy and fast. Choosing and picking car was also a worry free experience. It took just a couple of minutes since I arrived to the Emerald stand until I was ready to leave the facility with my rented car because there were no lines. The car was a nice year's model, very low mileage and clean. Return was easier and fast as well. Absolutely a wonderful experience with National. Thanks team!

The service is fine. It is not like other National counters at other airports; where you can go to the Emerald Executive line and pick the car that you want and leave. In Tulsa, you have to stand in line to speak with someone at the booth to get keys to a car. And instead of allowing you to get what you want, they try to charge an upgrade. No go.

Overall a good trip, but just be on the lookout for this discrepancy.

Overall, the rental was good. This National location does not have an Emerald Aisle, but for the most part, the agents at the Emerald booth are friendly and work quickly. Twice now, I have used the Virtual Aisle function on the National app which enables you to select your car so long as you can get to the booth in 15 minutes or less. Because of this time frame and the slowness of the luggage claim process, I have my app up and have reviewed the cars and ready to select my car once the bags start coming up on the belt.
